Peak Training was created to give our customers the much needed training for using an interactive display and software. Our in depth training plan covers everything you’ll need from the basics all the way up to more advanced uses of interactive display technology.

With the infinite possibilities digital whiteboarding can give you, it can be easy to become lost in the abundance of features. Training will give you the confidence and the know-how to successfully deliver a compelling lesson whilst seamlessly using the
multitude of applications and tools available to you.

LEVEL 1
EXPLORER
Level 1 offers you the ability to demonstrate proficiency in using IBT tools to enhance teaching and learning. As part of the first module there are 8 units. Once you have completed these units you will be a certified explorer. On completion you should be able to use IBT tools to present your lessons more dynamically and communicate your lessons more effectively in comparison with simply using text and image filled slides. It will also encourage you to learn the skills needed to avoid the passive way of delivering content and therefore make lessons more interactive. Each unit of Module 1 will allow you to access the best way to analyse what you already do well within your classroom and to see where the technology you’ll learn about might be able to help you.
UNIT 1
Unit 1 will support you with the foundation skills, helping you understand the display’s main features, as well as showing you the connectivity ports available and how to safely shut down.
UNIT 2
Unit 2 will allow you to understand the basics of Quick Note as well as an introduction into FlipChart and Note.
UNIT 3
Unit 3 will give you an introduction into Hive Interactive Whiteboarding software. You will learn to locate cloud resources and drop media onto your canvas, access the Hive Library and create quick access links to your files.
UNIT 4
Unit 4 will help you to understand the tools on the main toolbar in Hive. You will also learn to set default backgrounds and group select items on your canvas.
UNIT 5
In Unit 5 you will learn to use the desktop mode feature, and the benefits that comes with for annotating on and screenshotting content.
UNIT 6
Unit 6 gives you an introduction to the Mini-Apps, which can be used to enhance your lesson delivery.
UNIT 7
Unit 7 teaches you to create revision and evidencing material by using tools like page replay or board in board for discussion points, as well as using screen recorder and a microphone to create revision videos for students.
UNIT 8
Unit 8 allows you to change default settings to suit your style of working.

LEVEL 2
PIONEER
You will gain an advanced knowledge of the IBT tools. As part of the second module there are 5 units which you need to undertake. Once you have successfully completed these you are a certified pioneer. On completion you will be able to provide support to your colleagues in order for them to also have the opportunity to undertake an element of professional learning on their own.
